"the Long Defeat" was an unrehearsed improvisation in a humblingly empty, resonant space...
This improvisation took place on December 13, 2003, for it I utilized electric guitar with effects, frame drum and radio. Each of these tracks is an unedited part of that improvisation. The full recording lasted exactly one hour. A few minutes of non-musical silence were edited out. Aside from EQ and compression, no other post-processing was done.
In 2004, this recording was released in a limited edition of 25 and given exclusively to friends of mine, but now it is available to all.
